Bake Club Cinnamon Bun Cookies



2 stick butter

2/3 C sugar

1/2 c light brown sugar

2 t extract, vanilla

1 ea egg

2, 2 C T flour

1/4 C nonfat milk powder

1.5 t salt

1/2 t baking powder

1/8 baking soda

1 T Cinnamon, ground

6 oz cream cheese


1. Heat the oven to 350°F.


2. Cream butter and sugars


3. Add extract and egg


4. Add flour, milk powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix fully


5. Divide dough in half. Knead 1T cinnamon into half of the dough.


6. Fill cookie scoop half full with cinnamon dough, remaining half with plain dough. Pinch and twist the dough together with your fingers to form a swirl. Flip the cookie dough ball upside down. Using thumbs, create a cavern to hide a tablespoon of cream cheese inside each, wrapping cookie dough edges around to seal entirely.


7. Place dough rounds, seal side down on the cookie sheet 2-3 inches apart. Use the palm of your hand to flatten the dough. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown around the edges.


8. Cool slightly (they're AWESOME warm) or Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
