Bake Club: Brownies As you Like

OPTION 1: Chocolate and cocoa powder

1 stick unsalted butter

1/2 cup choc chips

1 cup sugar

2 whole eggs (or 1 whole, 4 yolks)

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

OPTION 2: No cocoa powder

1 stick unsalted butter

1 1/4 cup choc chips

1/2 cup sugar

2 whole (or 1 whole, 4 yolks) eggs

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2/3 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

OPTION 3: No chocolate chips

1 stick unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

2 whole (or 1 whole, 4 yolks) eggs

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt



1. Heat oven 350F. Grease. 8x8”

2. Melt chocolate and butter together. Whisk in sugar. Whisk in eggs.

3. Measure dry ingredients into wet. Switch to spatula, stir slowly. Pour into pan.


4. Bake 8x8” 25 mins 15 mins. The gooier the better, if you ask me.
